Description
The K&N 57-9036 FIPK air intake system replaces the restrictive factory air filter and air intake tubing while retaining the factory air box on specific Toyota Tundra models. K&N air intakes are designed to dramatically reduce air intake restriction as they smooth and straighten air flow for a guaranteed horsepower gain. This allows your engine to inhale a larger amount of air than the factory air filter and air intake assembly. More air means more usable power and acceleration throughout the engine’s RPM range. This air intake comes with a replacement K&N high-flow air filter and an aerodynamically engineered intake tube that easily connects to your vehicle’s factory air box and throttle body. The air filter can be used for up to 50,000 miles before servicing is needed depending on driving conditions. This air intake system is designed for quick and easy installation with commonly available tools.
Features:
- Guaranteed to increase horsepower and improve acceleration
- Custom designed and engineered for each application
- Works with OEM computer system
- Includes the world’s best air filter, the K&N filter
- Easy to install
- Up to 100,000 miles between servicing
- Million Mile limited warranty
The improved air flow allows your engine to inhale a larger amount of air than it would from the stock air intake. More air means more usable power and acceleration throughout your engine’s RPM range. The air intake comes with a chrome topped K&N high-flow air filter and a heat shield that installs into the previous air box space. Air is directed through the intake tube into the engine’s throttle body for a guaranteed power gain. The intake tube has an attractive chrome-like finish that’s made to last and it accommodates the factory mass air sensor and a couple of replacement silicone crank case vent hoses. The oversized cone shaped air filter can be used for up to 100,000 miles before servicing is needed depending on driving conditions. This air intake is relatively easy to install usually in 90 minutes or less. Some K&N 77 series air intakes are not legal for sale or use in California and other states adopting California emission standards while others are CARB exempt and 50 state legal. Check the vehicle applications and specific CARB status for each vehicle and air intake.
