Overview

The American Thunder Cross-member back exhaust system for 1965-1968 Chevrolet Impala and Caprice is perfect for the person looking for a moderate to aggressive sound level inside and outside of the car, with all of the performance benefits that you would expect from Flowmaster. This bolt-on exhaust system features mandrel-bent 2.50-inch aluminized steel tubing with a built-in H-pipe crossover, a pair of Super 40 Series mufflers and dual 2.50-inch mandrel bent tailpipes. The system is finished off with a pair of polished oval stainless steel tips. The system is covered by our 3-year Limited Warranty and is designed for an easy fit. The system includes all necessary parts and hardware for installation. Note: Fits coupes, wagons, and convertibles. Big Block cars, use Flowmaster# 81075 manifold down-pipe kit to connect to factory manifolds.

• Fits 1965-1968 Chevrolet Impala, Caprice coupes, wagons and convertibles with V8 engine. Due to possible differences in the frame design during these years, modification of the muffler frame hangers may be needed.
